Easter Holidays... #1

Photos I think capture our most recent holiday up north.  This is how I'm feeling tonight anyway.  And missing it like crazy.  I have more to come though.  Things I've made and collected...  And little hands (2nd cousins and my boys) making cool stuff too.

Scary that we're almost back at school.  How can two weeks and a bit fly by so fast?  I don't think I'm ready for homework and the NAPLAN tests.  Both my boys will be doing these very soon...

Anyway, don't want to think about all of that, just yet.

I hope you had a relaxing break wherever you were in the world.

My new old skirt.  My cousins called it my Nanny skirt.  So comfortable though and you know what, it's all about those colours

My 2nd Cousins, one of their friends and my boys (after a photo session I made them do)! Results are questionable

My boys

Luke took this photo for me while I was driving.  We left Sydney at 3am on Good Friday to beat the traffic. This was sunrise near Bulahdelah (about 3 and a bit hours out of Sydney) and just under halfway of our trip to our caravan

Gus organised this for Tim.  He chose the box and gold decoration from a $2 shop (think it cost about $3.99) and filled it with tiny turkish delight easter eggs

Luke surfing in the rain and loving every minute of it

Tim and Gus with my beautiful 2nd cousin Tilley.  Fishing under a rainbow.  I think if I'd ever had a little girl, she'd be very much like Tilley.  She flies by the seat of her pants, takes things in her stride and gets dirty!!  And surfs!  The perfect combo I reckon

My legs underwater.  I still can't master my underwater camera

The water was so, so clean and warm and I love my bikini bottoms like this

Clean water

Out in it.  Shag rock is to the left

Just after I was dumped

Luke took this of me

I like the way the clouds meet the water

My favourite purchase ($8) from the local vintage shop.  This was painted by an old farmer who has now passed away.  He took up painting at the end of his life.  I'm so glad I bought it and love it so much.  It's now at home with me in Sydney

I know, it needs a wash.  Our very old, very tired and worn out caravan that we just couldn't live without.  And the garden out the front that I'll weed when I wash the van (next holiday)
And my favourite room in the van (anything goes here as you can see)
